My favorite exchange every year!

Thank you for signing up - just knowing we matched tells me you'll do something I love! I hope this is a low-pressure experience for you and you have fun!

Some things about my likes/DNWs and some prompts you can use or ignore at will below.

Generally speaking: I prefer angst over fluff, I like happy endings that come after struggle or discord as much as I love angsty cliffhangers that keep the work grounded in the fandom's reality. I love character studies and backstories. I love minor characters in fic, the chance to flesh out what we don't see on the page or screen. Not into pregnancy AU, high school or university AU, or modern AU. BUT I love canon-divergence or AUs within the given universe (a different meet-cute, or a different ending, for example). While I love angst, I don't love trauma, especially of the sexual variety. Not really into a lot of kink or graphic sex. Love friendship, team-building, friends-to-lovers, unrequited pining, requited pining that's more complicated than those involved want. Absolutely DNW non-canonical character death, rape/dub-con, sexual violence of any kind, body horror, A/B/O, or underage sex.

Fandom-specific prompts under the cut. Very likely there are spoilers for Avengers: Endgame under there as well.

Jurassic Park (All Media Types), Alan Grant & Lex Murphy & Tim Murphy, Gray Mitchell & Zach Mitchell, Owen Grady & Alan Grant

Alan & Lex & Tim - post-JP, set whenever you want in the collective timeline, their general relationship. Do they keep in touch? Does Tim grow up wanting to be a paleontologist? Collective PTSD and the ways it brings them closer or doesn't. Reactions to events in Jurassic World, especially set before the movie, would be very interesting. No shipping but unrequited Lex-crushing-on-Alan works for me.

Gray & Zach - the ways the events of JW brought them closer, or ultimately didn't. Discussions down the line about their experiences. How does what they go through shape who they become later? Does Zach idolize Owen, for example, or does Gray? Regular brother interaction unrelated to their JW experience directly but colored by it. Trauma, getting over trauma, etc. No shipping here please.

Owen & Alan - Mentorship, arguing over ethics, friendship that occurs post-events, beers and talking about raptors, Alan both understanding and being perplexed by Owen's defense of Blue and the others. A conversation in which Alan absolutely does not want Owen going back to the island for very obvious reasons. No shipping - thinking father/son kind of relationship, or just professor and student.

I've read JP and The Lost World, but adherence to book canon is not at all a requirement here, and I'm also fine if you decide to erase or change all of either/both The Lost World and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.

Captain Marvel (2019) - Carol Danvers/Yon-Rogg, Nick Fury & Monica Rambeau, Carol Danvers & None

Carol/Yon-Rogg is hugely problematic and I'm okay with that. Reconciliation, early days on Hala, a different original meeting, all good. Prior feelings now being obliterated by revelations about his actions, but Carol's reactions and feelings on *that* being messy totally okay. Much later Carol/Yon-Rogg also interesting - he's changed, or not, and they bump uglies, so to speak. Post-Infinity War would be interesting, too. Does Carol go to Hala in her travels to help those hurt by Thanos' actions, and does she see Yon-Rogg there (or does she not, and all that implies).

Nick & Monica - Nick keeps up with Monica after Carol's departure. This can be shippy or not, but I'm mostly interested in a friendship that builds between them, especially if Monica becomes a confidante who hears about Nick's adventures in SHIELD.

Carol by herself. Pretty much anything post-CM, especially if it brings her within shouting distance of some sort of Avengers (MCU) shenanigans. I'd be very interested in seeing her interact with Nova Prime, fighting Ronan, having some sort of altercation with the Sovereign, showing up in time to escort Valkyrie and the fleeing remnants of Asgard to earth before the snap in Infinity War. Carol dealing with the fallout of Infinity War. Or none of this, and just Carol Danvers figuring out who she is after the events of CM. Identity crisis, pent-up rage, depression - those are all interesting. Prefer gen if you're going these routes.

Peggy Carter (TV) - Peggy Carter/Daniel Sousa, Peggy Carter & Jack Thompson, Peggy Carter & Daniel Sousa & Jack Thompson

Adventures in a timeline where Steve doesn't appear. I'd also love appearances by Howard Stark.

For Peggy/Daniel, anything sweet. Peggy finding peace, Daniel being okay with not living up to Steve Rogers and Peggy making it very clear she doesn't expect him to (or even see it as a matter of "living up" to anyone). Daniel supporting her as SHIELD forms and she becomes director would be awesome.

Peggy & Jack would be very interesting to me as partners on a case, any case. How do they learn to work together? Jack becoming respectful of Peggy, grudgingly or not.

Peggy & Jack & Daniel - swapping war stories over drinks, the guys at first disbelieving of Peggy's stories but eventually sitting in awe. A reunion later in their general careers - do Jack and Daniel still work for SHIELD later on? An Endgame callout - is Peggy meeting with them when Steve sees her at the base in 1970?

The Defenders (Marvel TV) - Luke Cage & Jessica Jones & Matt Murdock & Danny Rand, Jessica Jones/Matt Murdock, Misty Knight & Colleen Wing

Everything and anything you can do to bring the consequences of the Marvel MOVIE verse to bear on the actions the Defenders have to take, please, please do so! Especially interested in any of my requested character or pairing sets dealing with the aftermath of Infinity War. Or Endgame for that matter. I saw someone talk about the challenges for lawyers in the wake of the Endgame snap - who better to deal with the legal crap than Matt Murdock??

More specifically - the team survives the snap, and with the Avengers scattered and defeated, what if anything do the Defenders do to fill the gap? How does it look for each of them and how do they react? How do they come together stronger as a team for all of that?

For Jessica/Matt, I'm down for anything in any timeline at any point that has them get together, work together, dealing with each other's issues, you name it. Does Thanos' snap take one of them, and then Tony's snap bring that person back? What does it look like for Jessica if Matt knocks on her door after five years, for example? Jessica and Matt are the only ones left after the snap - and that's when they get together. Or, just a plain post-Defenders series in which they get together, independent of the movies, in either of their independent series or disregarding those bits of canon. Sex okay, more down for hurt/comfort. Face touching, reluctant Jessica who really does want Matt closer but doesn't know how to ask, Matt refusing comfort. Angst totally okay.

Misty & Colleen - oh, where to begin. I want them to show up for the Marvel ladies gathering during the battle with Thanos, for one, and then meeting and getting to know some of the others in the wake of that battle. Aside from that, anything in which the two of them work together to support their Defender friends - or anything in which they really are the Defenders. The world loses Daredevil and the others in the Thanos snap, and Misty and Colleen take up their calling. Misty and Colleen fight crime in a noir New York City at any point post-Defenders. All these things are good. A random thought - I'd really enjoy seeing them meet May Parker.
