Hip-hip-hooray for Yuletide!

In case we've never crossed paths, here's a little about my tastes. I love character-driven stories, missing scenes, in-universe AUs like different meet-cutes or paths not taken, angst with happy endings. I like gen pieces as much as romance. I'm more into het pairings in the fandoms I've chosen. Prefer stories that aren't heavy on the sex. Unrequited love, especially when the principals both know about it, can really be fun, too. My DNWs are non-canonical character death, fridging, graphic sex or violence, non-canonical or real-life politics, and modern/soul-mark/coffee shop/high school/university/pregnancy AU. On to fandom-specific thoughts, likes, etc:

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (Miriam "Midge" Maisel, Lenny Bruce, Shirley Maisel, Moishe Maisel)

Totally unspoiled for season 4! Hardcore Midge/Lenny shipper here. Any and all ideas featuring them would be amazing. You don't have to ignore the life and death of the real Lenny Bruce, but I'd like something happy for him. Stories simply about Midge separately are also awesome - her success, what life looks like twenty years down the road, or stories from her past, especially if the adventure hints at what she becomes. Also down for an AU where Midge doesn't marry Joel, or it's her fledging comedy career that's their "couples thing" and not his (how does that change their situation?!). As for Shirley and Moishe - I'm actually really interested in how Moishe came to know about and help getting "13 Jews out of Germany" during the war. Is he telling the truth, stretching it, or maybe not even giving himself enough credit? Shirley as a younger woman, where she comes from, ways that maybe she "gets" what Midge is doing and wants to support her doing it, but not explicitly (I also like the idea that Shirley maybe isn't as doofy as she often comes off on the show, but feel free to let her be exactly who she is with depths that aren't so much hidden as just unfathomable to those around her). Or have a lot of fun and send Moishe and Shirley to one of Midge's blue shows by accident...or to see Lenny Bruce unknowingly.

Ted Lasso (Rebecca Welton, Ted Lasso, Trent Crimm, Flo "Sassy" Collins)

Rebecca/Ted! Oh, writer, find a way to make it happen and make it believable. Does Ted leave, and does Rebecca chase him to Kansas? Does he not leave, and they find their way to each other in a roundabout way? Is it all sweet, or is it a little bittersweet, in the way the show can be sometimes? Hint deeply at romance between them during current canon! I'm also up for Ted and Sassy to become a more regular thing (but with Rebecca not being totally cool about it). Tell a story about that time Trent Crimm had drinks with Sassy and maybe learned a bunch of things he really wants to write about and doesn't. Or, tell me about how Sassy tried to help Rebecca get rid of Rupert long ago and it didn't work - friendship ups and downs, how Sassy helps Rebecca forgive, how Sassy herself forgives.

A League of Their Own (Worldbuilding, Shirley Baker, Ellen Sue Gottlander, Marla Hooch)

For this fandom, worldbuilding is going to be straight up about the baseball. Tell me the story of little girls who come to Peaches games and are mesmerized and want to play baseball themselves. Tell me about the players we never meet in the movie and how they adjust to being ballplayers over whatever they were before (housewives, munitions plant workers, anything at all). Tell the story of the league from the POV of the men whose wives and girlfriends go and play (does George hear about Betty before he dies, for example?) - not saying tell the story as men have written about it since, but more the personal story. Tell the story of the radio broadcasters asked to work the games.

For the ladies themselves - Shirley Baker. She's illiterate when we meet her, and it makes her very shy and withdrawn. How did learn about the league, and what are the other circumstances in her life? I imagine it to be a sad life, and maybe the league is a sanctum for her. What about Ellen Sue Gottlander, a beauty queen who also plays ball? How on earth did she get into the game, and what drove her to try out? As for Marla....tell me more about how success as a baseball player really brings her out of her shell, and how amazing she is later. She tells Dottie in the film that "their son runs the business" when asked about Nelson. Did Marla and Nelson run the business together, and what is it? Tell me about her relationship with her father, how baseball is what he knows and so it's what she knows, but why exactly, and did she ever rebel?

Sense and Sensibility (Marianne Dashwood, John Willoughby, Elinor Dashwood, Colonel Brandon)

Give me circumstances that bring Willoughby into contact with Elinor first, and lead to a misunderstanding that gets her a proposal she can't in good conscience refuse. A Marianne and Willoughby story that ends happily. Willoughby's character reformed, either through the magic of the written word (you erase his dalliances) or by actual reform - he rights his wrongs. Marianne and Colonel Brandon and an understanding before she meets Willoughby. Elinor gets a season before her father dies, and Marianne gets to accompany her and meets Willoughby that way, or Elinor meets Colonel Brandon in town. You don't have to write out Edward Ferrars, but I'd like to see Elinor with Brandon or the aforementioned weird circumstance that leads to her being with Willoughby. Bring any or all of the characters in the vicinity of Norland. Maybe the Dashwoods don't remove to Barton Cottage after all, either because Mr. Dashwood lives or he is more explicit in how John must provide for his sisters and stepmother. Happiness for Elinor and Marianne is paramount, whether both are paired off or not. Crossovers with other Austen properties also VERY welcome (and honestly, a Bridgerton crossover would be a lot of fun, too, either a real one, like Marianne being courted by Benedict or Elinor attending a ball hosted by the Duchess of Hastings, or in which Lady Whistledown tells the story from the POV of the ton)
